ensure that the email address you use to register is one you check regularly.
Using a valid and regularly accessed address makes it so much easier for us to
contact you and organise your prize should you win.
If you
already hold a footy tips registration,
and played the Paypac comp last year, you will likely find that you’re
automatically registered for the 2013 Comp. To double check, login and click
the ‘Competitions’ tab. This will list the Competitions that your username is
registered to. You can start to enter your tips from this point on if you’d
like!
The same
rules apply as in previous years; a weekly prize is granted to the Tipster who
scored best for the round. There will also be End of Season prizes issued for
those Tipsters who scored best overall for the season.
We note
that this will only be possible with the help of our generous clients, and so
if you think your company may be able to donate a prize, please let myself footytips@paypac.com.au know. Paypac

indication as to who might be happy to donate a prize to this free competition.
Prizes
in previous years have ranged from accommodation, to gift vouchers, to mobile
phones, and lots more in between. Should you wish to donate a prize, be mindful
that the prize does not necessarily need to relate to your industry or
business.
Those
donating a prize or prizes will also receive free advertising in Paypac Footy
Tipping Comp email updates that are broadcast to all other participating
clients.
Any
prize donations can be emailed footytips@paypac.com.au
We
are looking forward to another successful comp this year!
Thanks
for your support.

What are the changes to employee eligibility for super?
As of
1 July 2013, there is no upper age limit for paying super for an employee.

Are you required to report on Fringe Benefit Tax?
Leading up towards the busy end of the Financial Year, employers are required to report on and submit their Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) liabilities. The FBT year runs from the 1st of April until the 31st of March.
If your business is not currently registered for FBT you must first complete an application form and submit it to the ATO.
What is FBT?
FBT is a tax paid against (mostly) non-monetary benefits that you can choose to provide to your employees.
Examples of this are;
- providing an employee with a company car for private use
- giving your employee a cheap loan
- access to a corporate box
If benefits that are subject to FBT were not utilised throughout the FBT year, you are not required to submit a return as the FBT balance would be nil.
However, the ATO does require that you submit a notice of non-lodgement form if you will not be submitting a return.
We will be updating with more tips and reminders leading up to the End of the Financial Year, including dates for our EOFY Paypac Software Courses.
Should you require additional information or assistance during this busy period, please do not hesitate to contact us on 08 9481 0481 or 1800 729 722.

Important Dates in 2011 - April 3
Daylight Savings in the Eastern States is coming to an end on Sunday April the 3rd at 2am. This means that the time difference between WA and the Eastern States lessens from being three hours to two hours and this allows an extra hour for banking.
We advise Outsourcing Clients that the PAYPAC OUTSOURCING banking deadline is now extended from 1pm to 2pm WST.
However we do appreciate your prompt assistance to ensure we are always able to meet our banking deadline with time to spare wherever possible.
